Over the course of our stay, we had some small sweet ants join us in the main bathroom, but they were gone once our stuff was packed away for check-out. The unit was REALLY clean, with two VERY small exceptions. You have two glass slider doors that lead out onto the pool deck, a bedroom with what I swear is a California-King sized bed (and a window a/c unit), and ANOTHER bathroom with a tub/shower combo, toilet and sink. Just off the kitchen and small dining, there is a full bathroom (stand-up shower, sink, toilet). We cooked for lunch one day and it was fine. The kitchen is a full kitchen, with dishwasher and everything. There's a wall-mounted a/c unit, a coffee table, and an end table.

At least one of them is a sleeper sofa (and I'd bet the second of the three is, too, since it was an identical couch). Here's what we found: You walk in to a large living room with (3) couches that seat 8. I wish I could give this place 4.5 stars, but I wanted to be ultra conservative. We stayed in the Banyan room with my cat and his 13 year old dog, and I have to say, we were SO pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend and I just returned from our stay here on the 4th of July weekend. But if you are easy going, self sufficient and appreciate a nice quiet, family atmosphere - book now! More Show less Again, if you are the type of person who needs constant attention, white glove rooms and satin, frilly sheets, this place is not for you. The Sanibel beach is beautiful and the location is not crowded. No, this hotel is not on the beach, and you might say that access is slightly inconvenient, but once you make the 5 minute walk it's all worth it. Open the door, jump in the pool, have cocktails with your neighbors - what could be better? Oh, the beach.

Every room has a sliding glass door exit to the pool. I think they both had 2nd jobs, so they were both gone by mid afternoon each day which was fine because we really never needed anything else. The managers were super nice and check in was a breeze. There is a microwave in the open closet and a mini fridge - we brought our own Keurig. King sized bed, small table and chairs, and a tiny TV (we never used) sitting on a dresser that we converted into our sandwich and drink making station. If you are budget-minded, no frills, do it yourself type of traveller, then this place is for you! We stayed in the small studio next to the converted office/laundry room and it was perfect for our needs.
